we shall be free dumb lovers tonight

Over the last few weeks I have been taking my time with all aspects of my life, enjoying the company of friends, exposing my ears to delightful sounds old and new, knuckling down and settling into student life. I have fallen in love with my autumnal surroundings, taking train journeys to new beginnings and wanting too much too soon. The realisation that my heart no longer rules my head means only one thing, I'm growing up and running is no longer an option. Being sensible definitely has it's perks, shying away from the late nights and two day hangovers and instead replacing them with copious amounts of tea and reading glasses is giving me more time, time to think, time to enjoy, time to be me.

  4. This is lovely and exactly what I'm experiencing at the moment, knuckling down, staying in and being good old fashioned and sensible, although many would argue I always was (: xx
